IČIĆI EASTER EGG

IČIĆI EASTER EGG
This year, the Ičići Tourist Board has decided to kick off the Easter events in the town a little earlier and gift the people of Ičići with a beautiful display of painting the large Ičići Easter egg.

The egg will be painted on-site from April 3rd to 6th, in front of the Ičići Tourist Board office, where it will be available for all interested locals and guests to see.

In collaboration with a gallery from Bjelovar, the egg will be painted by Professor Miroslav Brletić, widely known for his creativity, craftsmanship, and extensive knowledge. He is also a well-regarded expert on the Liburnian region. Interestingly, Professor Brletić was born in the neighboring town of Lovran.

The large egg will feature decorations inspired by motifs from the beautiful town of Ičići.

After the painting is completed, the egg will be placed in the scenic Tivoli Park, offering a view of the marina and Kvarner Bay, where it will serve as a stunning photo opportunity for capturing Easter memories.

What significance does Villa Emma – Münz have for the history of the town? What role has the nautical marina played in the town's tourism? Why are there anchors on Ičići beach, where beach volleyball is played? These and many other motifs will be represented on the large Ičići Easter egg. If any of the above intrigue you, you can find more information in several informative tourist booklets available at the Ičići Tourist Office.

The Ičići Tourist Board invites everyone to tag #visiticici @visiticici in their photos to highlight the beauty of Ičići’s motifs and, in turn, promote the town as a tourist destination not only throughout our beautiful country but also beyond our borders.

At the same time, from April 3rd to 6th, Ičići will host the 24th Opatija CRO Melges Cup – a European sailing series.

This highly popular sailing regatta is organized by the Yacht Club Croatia Opatija with the support of local tourist boards and sponsoring companies.

The Melges class brings together the best of the sailing world on an international level, as well as the crème de la crème of Croatian sailing.

We believe that the first week of April in Ičići will offer a fascinating experience for both locals and visitors alike! We look forward to seeing you!
